We are living it up, Cedar style. There is lots of TV watching in Fairborn and at Faith's. Hell's Kitchen started last night, so I (Sarah) plan on going over to Faith's to see it tomorrow night. I am also planning on bringing food because, really, can you watch a TV show about cooking and eating? My belief is no.
Today is Jordan's birthday! Happy birthday, Jordo. You are an excellent boyfriend to Kelly. And friend to Sarah. And you are always good when we hear gunshots outside.
The best part(s) of today were the all-staff lunch at Red Robin, e-mails from Suzanne, Crystal Tuxhorn and Sarah Johnson, and the relocation of my wallet at Linens n Things in Avon. The most important lesson I learned on my 22nd birthday was this: do not leave your little black wallet in Linens n Things. It will take them 2 days to find it, and in the meantime, you will have to cancel both of your credit cards, the office credit card, get a new FAC/STAFF ID, and figure out to get on an airplane without a license because you have an event in Philadelphia on Friday.
Luckily, a five year old boy and a six year old girl found my wallet, even though the staff at Avon's Linens n Things apparently couldn't. Those kids are getting Maggie Moo's gift certificates. That's what.
Open invitation: come eat/grill at our house! Thanks to Rendy Lane Sowder, our kitchen is now fully stocked. And thanks to Kelly and Jordo, we have couches and loveseats. Now we just need people to come back and eat with us.
I'm totally off to weed the most amazing garden on Cedar Street. |
